Masala Crab

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg Crab
  • Ginger paste
  • Garlic paste
  • 1 inch Cinnamon
  • 2 nos Greem Cardamon
  • 2 nos Star Anise
  • 2 springs Curry Leave
  • 2 nos Green Chillies Slice deseeded
  • 1 large Tomato deseeded
  • 1 cup Onion Fine chopped
  • 2 tbsp Chili Paste Optional
  • 3 tbsp Penang Masala Powder
  • Coriander leaves Finely Chopped
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Mil Optional

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan
    Saute Cinnamon, Cardamom and star Anise, and Curry leaves for 2 min.
    Add onions and green chillies. Saute untilonions turn golden.5
    Add in Ginger Garlic Paste.6.Add in Chilli Paste (optional)
    Keep saute until the raw smell dissapear.
    Add tomato nd saute until the tomato turns mushy
    Add in Penang Masala Powder with some water.
    Add in the Crabs with a little water.
    Thoroughly coat the crab pieces with the masala.
    Cover with the lid and cook the crab for 8 to 10 minstiring occasionally.
    Add in Coconut milk.
    Sprinkle some handful of chopped coriander leavesand rdy to serve.

  • 1 tbsp Penang Masala
  • pinch Salt
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 3 clove Garlic

Ingredients

  • 500 gm Kerang de shelled
  • 5 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 2 inchs Cinnamon
  • 3 Cloves
  • 3 Star Anise
  • 3 Cardamom Pods
  • 4 inch Lemon Grass Ponded
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Tamarind pulp soaked in some warm water for the juice and discard the seeds
  • 6 Kaffir Lime Leaves Finely sliced
  • 6 tbsp Kerisik Toasted coconut
  • 1 tbsp Sugar / Palm Sugar
  • Salt To taste
  • 5 nos Shallots
  • 1 inch Galanggal
  • 3 Lemon Grass Pounded only white part
  • 5 cloves Garlic
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 10 - 12 pcs Dry Chili Soaked in warm water and seeded

Instructions

  • Chop the spice paste ingredients and then blend it in a food processor until fine. Heat the oil in a stew pot, add the spice paste, cinnamon, cloves, star anise, and cardamom and stir-fry until aromatic.
    Add the kerang and the pounded lemongrass and stir for 1 minute.
    Add the coconut milk, tamarind juice, water, and simmer on medium heat, stirring frequently until the meat is almost cooked.
    Add the kaffir lime leaves, kerisik (toasted coconut), sugar or palm sugar, stirring to blend well with the meat.

Maggi Goreng Masala

Ingredients

  • 1 packet MAGGI®
  • tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 1 nos Egg
  • 3 pcs Prawn Optional
  • 1 tsp Penang Masala Powder
  • ½ tbsp MAGGI® Chilli Sauce
  • 1 tbsp MAGGI® Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 tsp Soya Sauce
  • 40 gm Mustard Seed ( Biji Sawi )
  • 1 Tomato Sliced
  • 1 Lime Cut into ½

Instructions

  • In a pot, boil the MAGGI® 2-Minute Noodles Kari (noodles only without the Tastemaker), drain and set it aside.
    Next, heat the corn oil in a wok.
    When the oil is hot, crack in the egg and add in Penang Masala, Chilli Sauce,  Tomato Ketchup and dark soy sauce. Stir thoroughly.
    When the eggs are cooked, add the noodles . Also, add in the mustard greens, tomato and fried beancurd.
    Stir thoroughly to break down the eggs into small bits. Next, add the prawns and allow it to cook for about 2-3 minutes.
    Now that your noodles is ready, serve on a plate and place the calamansi on the side. Enjoy!
